Mayoral Forum for North Charleston Candidates

The focus of this forum will be on policing, housing and transportation. Co-hosting along with CAJM will be the ACLU, The Community Resource Center, LAMC, the Legal Defense Fund, Charleston NAACP, North Charleston NAACP, Best Friends of Lowcountry Transit, Charleston Moves and the YWCA. In all that we do, we know that power comes from people. So please plan to attend and bring people with you so that we can all be well- informed voters in this year’s election and elect local leaders who put the common good above personal gain, leaders who recognize that the people directly impacted by our community’s most serious problems are also the ones who are most capable of solving those problems if given the opportunity to do so.
