Our first organization-wide event of each year’s justice cycle. At this event, hundreds of Charleston-area community members gather to hear personal stories, reaffirm their commitment to doing justice, and vote on our focus for the coming year.
Kick-off to our comprehensive Research Process which includes face-to-face meetings with state & local officials as well as professionals in related fields to learn more about the selected problem and research-based, best practice solutions.
This event gears us up and prepares us for our big Nehemiah Action Assembly. Hundreds of community members learn more about the issues and research that has been conducted, understand our final "ask" and talk about things like potential tension at the Action.
Every April, thousands of Charleston-area residents gather under the banner of CAJM to meet with our public officials and secure public commitments to initiate a process to both implement and evaluate the identified best practices.
Our gathering to celebrate all that we have accomplished during the past justice cycle. We meet for fellowship, good food, recognitions and awards, as well as the kickoff for our investment drive.
